A new school in one rural Ethiopian community means so much to students like Meseret.
“Before [my high school] was built, children had to travel 13 km to the nearest school and risk abduction and sexual assault,” explains the 16-year-old who dreams of becoming a doctor and activist.
Thanks to our supporters for giving students like Meseret the chance to attend school safely and dream of a future filled with possibility. (Please note: Schools were closed, due to the COVID-19 outbreak, at the time this blog was written.)
